Japan: Back to Kyoto

Took the visiting friends to Kyoto to check out:

• The bamboo forest in Arashiyama, which appeared in Memoirs of a Geisha
• Iwatayama Monkey Park, where monkeys roam free (don't stare them in the eyes)
• Kinkakuji Temple, also known as the Golden Pavilion
• Yasaka Temple, where the wife and I shook the rope and bell for good fortune

A long day of walking resulted in sore feet.
